Initial consultation
To help you decide what type of invitation or announcement you need for your special day, we would love to set up an initial consultation with you. We could talk to you via email, phone or in person if we are in your area! If you have ideas, now is a good time to come with them, but not necessary. We are here to give you ideas! Any details that you have about your event and what styles and colors you are looking for are a good thing to have in mind at this time. If you have any themes that you are thinking about using, we can use that to help design your invitation. Pictures and color swatches also can be helpful! Also, if you have any specific details about the event or any wording that you would like to use, we will be sure to incorporate that.
We will send you different wording examples along the way incorporating your ideas via email. Then you can choose what is perfect for you! If you are able to meet in person you will be able to see samples of our work, but if you can’t meet don’t worry! You can check out our samples posted on the website, and we may be able to mail you card stock colors to choose from or you can mail us things you have that you would like us to incorporate.
To get a better idea of your price range be prepared to discuss the tentative quantities of invites or announcements. Once we have decided on the amount of invitations and the format we will be able to give you a more accurate price quote that will include everything from the cost of paper to the designing and creation of the finished product. Once we have created the invitation, announcement or other product you are looking for, we will have a sales agreement for you to sign and will require a 30% down payment. This will officially lock in your place and we will begin creating! However, if you need to get your invitations out very quickly then we may make an exception and require the whole payment in full ahead of time in order to get the correct pick-up or delivery date.
Timeline for weddings
Design for an invitation for a wedding generally begins 2-3 months in advance of when you need people to receive the invitations. They should be sent out 6-8 weeks before the event to allow for replies and dinner choices.If you would like products for your wedding day such as programs, place cards, etc. this will generally take place in the months or weeks leading up to your wedding, as the details are finalized just before the event. You can start thinking about these after you have finalized your invitations.
Finalizing
Once we have created a template for your invitation or other product we will send you digital proofs via email for each item. We will ask that you verify the wording before we continue printing. At this time you can still change anything that you feel is not correct. Remember, we want you to be happy! We will keep revising wording until you are 100% satisfied. It is your responsibility to tell us of any changes and then we will ask you to confirm that everything is perfect, including spelling, grammar and punctuation. Once we have received your final approval, your design will be printed!.
Order completion
We will schedule a date and time for pick up or mailing of your order. We can either mail you all of the invitations for you to address and send out yourself or we would be more then happy to do it for you for an additiona charge! We will require a final payment at the time of pick-up or before we ship out your final order.
